I ride my litespeed to work 24 miles a day, the road are clean, but my Hutchinson Carbon Comps are like velveta cheese - cuts, flats and thats not to good. I need a tire that will be good for riding weekends and commutes, long lasting, light. Have seen some sales in Nashbar in the 16-24 range, any ideas. I do have a set of Conti Grand Prix 3000, but the tread wears quickly - especially in the back tire. I would rather save the softer tires for races/events.
