Good luck. These days, derailleurs are pretty much use or replace. Repair parts are either non-existant, or very hard to find and, even if available, absurdly overpriced.

I agree that the probability is your Ultergra was damaged somehow. Poor shifting like you describe means something was badly out of spec.
