Hello everyone,

I am a bit of a lurker on here, only posted once or twice, but hopefully the combined knowledge of all members can help me out. I have searched (not only this forum but the entire intahweb) & found nada.

I am converting an oldish (late 70's/early 80's) Europa (Australian Builder) road bike to a fixie. I would like to put a set of polished Profile BMX cranks on it. Inspiration:



Does anybody know how to do this? As far as I can see my options are

a) Get Euro/MTB BB Shell put on road bike frame (a bit OTT & expensive)
b) Put Profile axle into road BB (is this even possible?)
c) Find an aftermarket road BB with 22mm 48t spindle in correct width
