I was vacationing in Hilton Head, and the other day I dropped into the popular local "Bargain Box" thrift shop. There was a Raleigh Sprite in excellent condition, right there at the front of the store. Alas, it also had a "SOLD" sticker right beneath the $40 price tag. Can't win them all, I guess.
There was a also an ancient Schwinn, but it looked like it needed more help than I wanted to give. It spent too many years at the beach, I suppose.
