my question about just locking the rear tire is that, if it's so difficult to cut through a wheel, why don't they make locks out of the same thing?!
The reason that it's hard is because the rim is under tension. It jams up cutting tools, esp saw blades because the tension on the wheel will make it close up and pinch the blade, making it near impossible to move it.
