Suggestions for a XC FS frame?

What I'm looking for:
A sub $450 full suspension frame for XC riding. I have a 90-120mm Manitou Black Platinum and a Manitou Swinger 3-way spv so if I can keep using them on the new frame that would help costs and be okay. Most of my rides include climbing and short decents with rocky and rooted terrain and some mud. DC doesn't offer much in the way of big jumps and long down hills. I need full suspension because I broke my back several years ago and it doesn't like the bumps of a hard tail.

Why I'm looking:
I bought an '04 Ironhorse Hollowpoint Expert last winter for $600. It didn't shift right but I figured it just needed a tuneup. I now know that the swingarm or frame might be bent as I've replaced the derailleur hanger, cassette, rear derailleur, chain and cable and still have ghost shifting issues. In addition when you look down you can see that the derailleur is angled in pretty badly. I'm going to have the frame checked with the proper tools but if it is the frame that is tweaked versus the swing arm I need a new frame.
