Hello, Im buying my first road bike. Im obviously a beginner and dont plan on racing the bike. Just riding for recreation.

My price range is about 700 to 1000 but would prefer to only spend around $700. I have selected a few bikes that I know my local bike shops carry. But any insights or suggestions to these bikes or others would be greatly appreciated.
