i am considering to go clipless pedal

i only have 1 bike which is a NRS1 01 , i will use this bike to commute, supermarket, mountain ride(very less downhill, most fireroads and singletrack).

if i go for clipless, i don't want to wear a clipless shoes all the time, sometimes i will just ride with sandals to go postoffice or supermarket.

i've never try a clipless pedal before, which brand/model clipless pedal and shoes should i narrow down my choice?
