KT how about bar tape? If you were coming from behind a car and they look in the mirror, you might be blending in with whatever colors they see (before they turn or switch lanes). Perhaps something other than black? Fizik Microtek is what I used on my bike - has that old school steering wheel wrap look to it. Doesn't hold dirt like cork does and is breathable for those hot sweaty days. Put it this way: Mine still looks new and Jon's cork got dirty the first day we wrapped it. But then again..you know Jon and his pink.


Side note: Funny how we both started out with John Deeres and ended up with road bikes.
