I had the cannodale ladies gloves (i forget which model) which were comfy but completely dissintegrated in about 6 months..for real, by the end they were just holes held together by a few stitches..

I now have the Louis Garneau Ergoair which are way more comfy, have better pads and arent some fake suede leather like the cannondales (which is why they turned into holes), the stretchy lycra/spandex holding them together will be nearly impossible to put holes in just cuz it will stretch before it tears..

but I love gloves..I used to just were those normal cotton knit gloves that I cut the finger tips off of and those are great for keeping your hands warm but thats about it...cycling gloves are sweet cuz they do that as well as have padding and the super cool cut off fingers...hurray for gloves! and just wear sunscreen for no tan..or long sleeves
