I wouldn't bother with replacements from IRO, just find something local. Shouldn't be too hard in most cities.
Was the bike coop RTM?
Anyhow, when I got my formula front at a newly opened coop LBS (Belleville), Tony told me about this issue and said he bought in some replacement nuts, I guess you can't go wrong with some heavy duty steel nuts
