I agree about it being out of character. He's usually humble, serious, focused, reserved. At the beginning of stage 6 he was all smiles while Klodi looked relatively miserable. This morning there was footage of him walking away from the hotel or team bus like Frankenstein (stiff legs, wide awkward steps) with a big smile on his face. I've never seen someone in such an unfortunate position be so upbeat.
