Open Pro CD

What's your experience with the CD versus a regular Open Pro? I have a set of the CD, but after about 2k miles, the finish is worn off of the braking surface. I need another wheel built up and I am debating whether to go with CD, or just the black rim. Other then that I am very satisfied with the OP.

This is what Mavic's site says:

What is it?
An anodization process that forms a micro-hardness on the surface of the rim

Benefits :

* Slows down wear & tear Application by braking
* Makes it easier to build and balance the wheel
* Improves the characteristics of the aluminum alloy Application

Process :
The braking surfaces are milled using the UB Control process, then CD coated. The base color of a CD coating is very dark, but it is possible to lighten or darken it to obtain different shades, from light gray to black.
