Coming out of lurkedom (sp?) to say thank you to Dan for a great ride! The best part for me was seeing everyone. It has been a long time (too long!) since we have done a BF ride. As always, everyone was so wonderful. We are like a big family...looking out for each other! Thank you to EVERYONE for taking such good care of Matt with all of his 'mechanical' issues. Truly, Chimivee is the hero...had he not had the zip-ties and the duct tape...not too sure what we would have done! That was just amazing...for him to have a small HomeDepot in his saddle bag. We were telling him and Voltman last night...we are re-thinking what we carry in our saddle bags.

Thanks to CJ, Voltman and Chimivee for being patient through Matt's two initial flats before we even hit the first rest stop! Thanks to Jschen for pulling us through Pendelton after the saddle event. Thanks to Extort for finding (what we think) was the reason for Matt's 3 flats and for he and Chucklehead assisting with the third flat of the day! I too think it is time for a Matt to get a new bike....we are hitting the bike shop tonight!

As for slacking...did not look to me that there was much of that on the road...maybe at the rest stops- but that was it!

P.S. Mo....I save my whips for only 'special occasions.' Yesterday...unfortunately was not one of them. Maybe the next ride....
