JonR - I couldn't agree more mate ! I was well pi$$ed off when I thought, 'Hmm. I'll fix the bike up and get it on the road again', hit the internet and found out a 21 speed XT kitted bike is practically unrepairable . Oh yeah, about the gear thing you mentioned - TOO TRUE ! Who in the hell needs 27 bl00dy gears !!!
