Haha, I've done that a couple times too, and it's definitely a bear of a climb. The road surface is pretty rough too which doesn't help anything. But a great workout. And an absolute scream to descend the west side of BH.
We may very well have been by each other, I was riding a route from N. Woodstock though BH to 89 & 190, down to 44, then into Eastford on 44 and back into Woodstock on 198 a couple times a week before I was sidelined for the last couple weeks with some knee pain. I have a couple friends at Uconn, so I've ridden down there a fair bit too.
