A seasoned, experienced rider in our club swears by PB&J. Cuts them in fours and puts them in snack-size zip locks. Still a bit sweet, but the peanut butter balances that well. If you don't buy the oily/healthy "natural" crap, you can also get some good sodium, which helps during a ride.

Js with too much PB because I have a hard time swallowing while riding. (Cue Chipcom...)
