Changing out tall, heavy riser bars for carbon flat bars is expensive.
Changing them out for aluminum low riser bars is cheap, can be done for around $15. Would save a little weight, but would more importantly, lower your hand position by 2" or more. That is, if you would still be comfortable with the lower position.
You could go with a nearly flat, lightweight bar for maybe $20-$25. Would be a big change to adapt to.
It is possible that you could adapt, as I know a person who went with a flat bar on a Sedona .
If you did make these changes, it would also change your weight distribution, could make the present saddle feel a lot different. Could lead to more changes.
