Okay, I lost my wheel last weekend ( http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=321935 )...

I've been thinking about what to replace the lost front wheel with... I'm not OCP by any stretch of the imagination. I ride a Lemond Sarthe (Steel is real, baby).

I'm just wondering if there's any reason to have a matched wheel set? or should I just buy a decent front wheel on the wonder web (and not buying from my LBS is killing me... but the price difference isn't justified).

I know you're all filled with opinions, so let 'em fly...
