Hello people. I'm getting ready to buy a Cannondale Feminine Synapse 4. I've done quite a bit of research and test riding. So I believe I'll be quite happy with this bike. Anyways, the bike has a carbon seat post and fork. What is the benefit of using carbon in the construction of these two particular bike parts? Rather than say, the seat tube or seat stays.
