I am in search of a touring bike/frame. Preferably lugged chromoly (of course ) Something at least a little better than entry level, but it doesn't have to be high end by any means. I would also prefer cantilever brakes, but that won't make or break a deal for me. I'm not interested in any particular brand or even country of origin, as long as I can mount good quality parts on it. Major brands I've seen here but can never find locally: Miyata, Trek, Nishiki, Raleigh, Peugeot...well...basically every brand there is. Of course it doesn't have to be a major brand either, I just figure something like that would be easier to find.
