But even assuming your GF would want a pink and red bike (and not going into the component issues discussed above), WSD bikes are not the right design for all women. The best answer to the question of what to get your GF is: get a bike that fits. Plenty of women don't need WSD geometry. Similarly, some men could probably fit better with the shorter reach of a WSD bike, but then you get into ego problems, particularly when the bike is bubblegum pink. If she's uncomfortable on the bike, she'll hate it.
