I only see whitetail when I'm out mountain biking-I usually stop and we'll watch eachother for a minute before they inevitably run off. I still feel privilaged to be in their company and am astonished at their athleticism. On my commutes I see: Osprey, Beaver, Black Snakes, turtles, and the occasional Bald Eagle. This morning I stopped to watch an Osprey hover over the Potomac in his search for fish-beautiful.
