Are you pulling out in front of me, or not?

Going up a slight hill, not going too fast.

Truck ahead pulling out of a parking lot on the right, wanting to turn left.

Are you going to turn left before I get there?

You're looking right at me, so I know you see me.

Are you turning? You're not moving, so I guess not.

Doh! Now you're rolling, guess you are turning.

No? You stopped again. Not moving...not moving...not moving...

OK, I'll ride by.

Hey! You turned!

I tried to veer up onto the sidewalk, which at that point had a "ramp" down to street level (because it was coming out of a parking lot.) Unfortunately, I didn't notice until too late that the "ramp" was still at least an inch tall where it met the street. Down I went!

At least I remembered to release my cleats. I didn't hit the ground myself, just the bike.
