How about making a weekend of it? UCONN ride on Saturday (could always do some warm-up miles and/or some cooldown miles to extend the distance) and then explore lovely Connecticut for the afternoon and stick around to ride The Tour of The Litchfield Hills on Sunday (77.4 miles of fun with marked routes, ride support, food entertainment... and of course, more BF'ers ... and some kickin' hills to roll over).
I would love to, but the wife gets all bent out of shape when I take off on the weekend leaving her with the baby; especially since she's with him all day Mon-Fri. That said, I didn't get to ride at all last weekend and I may take Aug 6th off so that could be a "make-up" day with the fam'
