From the seat of a bike

For the past several months I have been having alot of health issues. But this morning, even though I didn't feel really good, I went on a 25 mile ride up to a smalll mining community. The weather was perfect for riding, and pretty much no wind. It felt good pedaling up the final steep grade into town. After riding into town, I sat down on the steps of the old general store, to rest.

An older man stopped by to chat, he said that he was the oldest living resident of the town having lived there his entire 77 years.

After a short rest and some good conversation, I returned back down into the valley. As I rode back home, I was reminded once again how great the world looks from the seat of a bike. It seems that after a good hard ride that everything is easier to deal with.
