You can't go wrong with a Caad8 - especially if you plan to race. I bought one off of Craigslist as a back up bike/rain bike to my full carbon Fuji Team Issue ( the bike Toyota United is racing this year). I quit riding the Fuji altogether and just sold the frame to buy a Six13 frame (same geometery as the Caad8). It's not just the stiffness and ride quality that make me love this frame - it's the handling. The turn in and line holding are perfect and really inspire confidence in crits. Cannondale really got it right on the Caad8/9 frames.
