It seemed pretty much constant with movement but varying in intensity seemingly at random rather than truly cyclical.

As I said it only happened under weight which made me wonder about the forks. What would water in the hubs sound like? I'm assuming it was wet weather related, as it stopped after twenty minutes in a dry guards van...
