That is bull****! No cycle racer should expect to have to "Just suck it up" as part of the risks of cycle racing... Sure there is risk, but letting unleashed dogs roam around during an event like this is just asinine. You would not let your kids just run out in the street during a bike race.

Whats next...? Random surprise tackling of the riders from the crowd every so often? Perfectly acceptable...
