But before I drop some cash on Aero's, I have a few questions-

1) If I decided to slap these on my bike, would I have to remove my handle bar mounted light? yes, you would. My stem mounted computer? yes, if you want to be able to see it at all times. If I do have to move them, do the bars have anywhere else I can stick my crap? get this for your computer, but get the XL size, the standard one's pretty short. if you still want to use your handlebar mounted light, i would recommend mounting it on your helmet. if that's not possible, use another one of the profile universal mounts, and put it in front of the computer...

2) Is the 2mph you gain from Aero's really worth $100-300?i think it is, but i wouldn't spend more than $150 on aerobars, considering you can get a really good set for about $150 or less...

3) How unstable are you when riding on the Aero's versus the hoods/drops? Of course, I wouldn't ride on the Aero's in a group ride, but I dont' want to grab a water bottle when I'm using the Aero's if I'll fall.of course they're more unstable than regular road bars, but use common sense when you use them. if you ever feel unsure about yourself on the aerobars, just use one aerobar and one drop. i used to do that a lot, because there are times when i want the advantage of the aerobars and i also wanted my brakes and shifter at my fingertips, at the same time...

4) Would I be wasting my money if I bought inexpensive ($120) bars vs. high-end ($500) bars?no, but you don't want to ride around with boat anchors for aerobars either, so i wouldn't recommend getting cheap bars that weight over 700 grams. look into these aerobars from Vision, i know a few people that use them and love them, and for $125 they're really nice.

Aero, Aero, Aero.
