Why in God's name would anyone buy a Taiwanese 'Motobecane' from some company on the Internet? I don't get it. Here's a newsflash: when I first started buying 'racing' bikes in the 1970's (when I was like 19) Motobecanes were still made in France. And they didn't have any bling THEN (not that bicycles have bling). Now they have industrial slaves making them in Asia? Anyone that cheap gets what they deserve. Just go down to the LBS and get a Cannondale, Specialized or Trek you pathetic bike weenie OCP wannabes. Besides, you can't be OCP with a 'Motobecane'. Get friggin serious already.
Just when you think it can't get dumber on BF, somebody ups the ante. And that's what makes this place so entertaining. Oh yeah, Saturday I go to my pal's house to ride. He had emailed me about 'checking out my new iron'. He had his very light/pricey/tricked out Litespeed Ghisallo next to his brand spankin new Porsche 911S Cabriolet. Guess which of those two items exuded 'bling'? It wasn't the Ghisallo.
