Thanks for the note. I bought a Trek Madone 5.0 and I've been thrilled so far. I debated over aluminum or carbon and after riding both, carbon won me over, without a doubt. Plus, I found a great deal in Atlanta through Trek's Hit the Road Sale on 2007 models, and couldn't resist it's all around sweetness! I got some Look Keo pedals and I'm still trying to find the right shoes. I really want to get some Sidi's, but after dropping 2 G's on the bike, I hesitate spending $200 more right away on shoes. I thought about rolling with my Time Attack (MTB pedals) and shoes that I already have until I find the right deal on some road shoes.
What do you ride? How long have you been riding? Can you offer me any training suggestions to help get me started?
