Sounds pretty exciting Falkon. One of the first things I noticed when I started commuting recently is how much more connected I feel with the environment, the city and people in general. I've seen street art I would never have seen in a car (wouldn't drive on that route), helped people with directions, was first on the scene to an older lady who had fallen down the steps on her front porch, saw this really cool gigantic birds nest (don't know if it is an eagle or a hawk but the nest is like 4 or 5 feet in diameter)...it goes on and on. Even the sight of downtown shining in the morning sun as I come up over the bridge looks so much more real on my bike. It is something that I just never experienced in a car. And as your situation illustrates, you never know what you are going to see each day.

I have to say I love your signiture. I'm handing in my last Calculus III assignment tomorrow. Whoo hoo!
