I don't see the need too - it's two similar "cultures" and it really comes down to technique and preference. Also, the very nature of the fact that hubs are flip-flop perhaps speaks to the nature of this forum, it can be flipped if need be.

Personally, I like it all mixed up - I ride SS but appreciate fixed as much as everyone. It also helps to inch me closer to make the transition one fine day.....
