We don't do any hill climbs around here so a double is good enough. This is a racing bike after all. When we are going on a serious day trek she can ride her nishiki international which she commutes on. She can always just use the chorus in friction, it's still going to shift better than the nuovo record. I live in Vancouver, BC so yes it is hilly.

FBB, I had decided that 185mm cranks are wonderful but I think 180mm is my favorite... I am not trying to sell them or anything just from one tall fellow to another... I think crank length is something most people take for granted and they don't have too. Or did you mean let you know what I decide about the nuovo record stuff?
