I think this will get the punches, then you will have just to replace it.
Coroplast is your friend... and free if you look in the medians and shoulders of busy roads, since most political campaign signs, garage sale signs, lawn mowing service signs, etc., are made of coroplast these days. Light and tough. The bent crowd likes to make fairings out of the stuff cause when they wreck, only the time to build one is lost. (Just Google coroplast and fairing and you'll get a ton of hits).
