i have a pair of BRIGHT orange cannondale panniers (my brothers from 1994!) that i love. i just completed a trip from seattle to san fransisco (about 1000 miles) and they are still just as amazing. they have an excellent interior frame in them that keeps them far away from you wheels and prevents any flopping. they also have outside pockets for stuffing things that you need on hand. everyone in my group was jealous of my panniers! i would highly suggest getting cannondale panniers , but what ever you do DO NOT GET AXIOM CHAMPLAIN PANNIERS! they cause many many problems for the people who had they and constantly broke, rubbed against the wheel, and fell off.
