Use that thin foil and foam sheet. The kind thats shiny foil on one side and thin foam on the other. They are BRILLIANT at insulating you in a hammock. I slide one in between my sleeping bag and the bivy sac so it won't slide around.
Where do you find this kind of foam pad? Are you talking about those things that people use in car windshields? I've seen that mentioned in other threads but is there something better available?
