Good to hear of your success. If you've got BMX skills, it should be pretty easy for you to navigate 18" diameter logs with ease. Manual in with the intention of placing your wheel directly on top of the log. When your tire hits, simultaneously begin your thrusting "sex move" and think about pulling your rear wheel up to the same spot on the log that your front wheel just left. When the rear wheel makes contact, shift your weight rearward as you roll off the backside of the log.

Timing is everything, and every log/ledge/rock is different. That's what makes it fun.
