I'm not attacking lbs. If you would actually read my post I asked if anyone knew what the mark up on prices actually is. And I never claimed that I was expecting as good of service if I bought online, that is the exact reason I WANTED to buy from a lbs, but as I said, I have had no luck finding anything.

Also I dont even know what the heck trolling is, but a bunch of people have responded saying they have had the same experience. I was looking for advice and I got it, and am now realizing that this is a problem for many people. I wasn't sure if it was just the area I am in (kansas city) and if the bike stores around here just sucked. Man, no wonder a lot of people think cyclists are a-holes. You cant even ask a question on a bike forum without getting dick responses from people who actually like the sport.
