Do you feel that you a MKIII and L optics when you shoot only 2 to 3 gigs a month? You could shoot a D60 and do just fine in MOST circumstances. My point is this.....You don't need a MKIII but you wanted one. You don't NEED L series glass unless your shooting big lenses AND need a fast F stop but you wanted them............I don't NEED a $5,000 bike but guess what......I wanted one and got one. See the similarity?
It is not a need but a want.
