Thanks for the responses- not a lot of fun, huh?!
Being self-employed, I have no choice but to continue to work, though I'm taking it as easy as I can. It's on my left side (fortunately- I'm a righty) and I can use my left arm to a limited degree, although if I position it wrong I get hellacious stingers running all the way down.
When my Doc saw the x-rays he said "congratulations- if you're going to break something, you might as well do it really well", which doesn't instill much confidence!
More x-rays next week will hopefully show progress or least a guage of how screwed I am.
Would be a real drag if I was single- my wife has to help me out of the shower , back into the butterfly brace, help put socks on etc etc.
