Saw Giant Team Advanced in person yesterday
All I have to say is Giant is really starting to hit on all cylinders lately. It's kind of surprising because they do it with zero fanfare. I never thought much of Giants recently until I stumbled across an excellent deal on the frame I have currently, but they really do have a killer product. I may be selling it now to get a Team Advanced now.
Anyway, the Team Advanced I saw was silver and black, graphics were very subtle and nice. The bottom bracket area is massive. The top tube is very broad and flattened on top, and the down tube is even more massive and appeared to be ovalized. It looks to be a very very stiff bike. The ISP was uncut, it had heavy Elite wheels, heavy stem, heavy (but sharp looking) Fizik Arione saddle, heavy stem, and handle bars. Even so it tipped the scales at 16.6 pounds. That included the b.s. reflectors and dork disk we have to put on at the lbs. That's a size medium and without pedals, but still, I thought that was impressive. If I put my gear on it, it would probably have come in around the 14 pound range.
The bike was way more impressive in person than in pictures.
