I just pulled aside a red Trek 830 (it says Antelope on it as well) that I am planning to work up as a winter commuter (here in MAdison Wisconsin) so I don't wear out my Jamis Aurora in the grit and grime. Not sure it is the same animal; mine appears to be red with some... 'spattered' highlights in the paint job.

Never owned or really ridden a bike like this (a road bike/tour bike rider I am)
I may mount an internal 3 speed hub on it.
now if I can get some fenders like that I'd be stylin'
