I'm not sure if it's cheap or not, having never looked at e-bikes. but the bike ($1295) seems to be sold seperately from the "kit" ($795), but they are sold by the same company, so it's your 1 stop shopping experience. So it kind of appears that the combined price is closer to $2100. Is that cheap for an e-bike?

Or perhaps the $1295 is for the whole e-bike, and if you want to add a kit to an existing bike it'll start you out at $795. It wasn't crystal clear to me.
