) came with an uncut steerer tube. My son's GiantOCR2 came with an uncut steerer tube. Uncut steerer tubes are the norm here in Australia, though you do have to tell the shops not to cut them down because many do it automatically.

Just for giggles, I wrote to Trek. They said they do cut the steer tubes except on the Project One bikes.
BTW, Performance has a carbon fork with alloy steerer for 75 bucks.
