My weight was not on my sit bones. At least not enough of it. I've been commuting with padded cycling shorts. I'm most attracted to the Titanico LD - Second Skin Watershed Leather Clydesdale from Selle An-Atomica. This is a leather saddle similar to a Brooks with a cutout. The leather has been treated for wet weater. The SMP TRK seems to be curved according to ones anatomy with a cutout as well but made out of synthetic materials.

I haven't considered a Brooks since I plan on commuting in all weather (except lightning) without fenders so I'm concerned about maintaining a leather saddle. Also, from how sore my perineum is right now, I don't want anything even touch that area while riding. If I should still be considering a Brooks, which models would most appropriate?
