I've had Canari gloes ($14) and PI's ($30). Somehow doesn't make a difference to me as the more expensive gloves are made liteweight for racing. Seems to me they wear faster.
I used to think that I needed good gloves for comfort and road shock. Now I make sure I have good bar tape and the gloves are mostly worn to wipe glass from my tire when I roll thru it! Otherwise, I wouldn't even bother.
As long as the seams don't bother between the finger, I'm fine!
