From my experience with those aero Victory/Triomphe posts, they come in extra-short (about 5", with a shorter aero section), and short (6.5" or so), but I've never seen one that is long enough to have at that position - looks like a 6.5" too. Just curious.

I wish I could tell you... It's been in the same spot un-moved for the last 20 years. It's been through it's fair share of crashes when I use to race. It's sturdy... My brother was a bike mechanic and built it up for me. I was clueless (still am) so I just let him have free reign, within my budget which wasn't much. After he was done it only cost me $800 - doubt it's depreciated much.
