We had a fantastic first ride on the Supremo. Very flat ride for 2 hours with ever so slight ups and downs. Was a good one to get the hang of our new tandem. Michelle commented on how smooth the bike felt. We are both pretty fit and were able to average 18.5 on the ride. We were pushing it a little. Some areas we were cruising at 24-31 and the bike felt smooth as silk- I am very happy. What we noticed was that we could talk and interact in a way not possible on single bikes-was very nice. We were both wearing heart rate monitors so we were trying to keep in the same zones. Michelle, new at the stoker position, is still getting used to the trust thing. I am trying to Captain with that in mind and make her experience a great one!! I am going to start another thread on clothing-matching jerseys for men and women. Trying to find some is not that easy. Michelle wears a WS and I wear a mens M or L.
Look forward to riding with you guys when we get the chance.

Join a club. It is the best way to get everything matching. We belong to Webcor / AltoVelo and have all the clothes - Fits perfectly. Many times matching jerseys from promoters come only in full cut. We need race cut to fit. Also, see my post under your other thread.
Sounds like you guys are really going to enjoy riding the tandem. Keep it up.
